Chatting to specialists at IHR last week we can see why. Many mentioned needing to complete Employer Branding projects this year. How Important is your reputation as an employer? ?? Last week I conducted a poll to see what percentage of people check the likes of Glassdoor and Indeed while researching a company. I was surprised to see just how many people use the platforms with 79% of voters using them! What does this mean for employers? If you have a good rating on Glassdoor you are more likely to get an increase of applicants and less reservations about the company culture and environment. On the other hand, if you have a bad rating on Glassdoor, it can scare away potential applicants and people who are interviewing as they will have reservations about why people have commented and rated that low. I think it goes to show just how important a good culture can be within you company and promoting your team to rate the company highly on the review platforms, making your company more attractive to work for when you have a higher employee rating. #culture #glassdoor #recruitment
