I had a great time sharing with Nerea Serrano Sánchez our vision at Kenvue, not just for Spain but for our whole Southern Europe cluster. Her article really captures my priorities as a people leader, and our ambition as a company. ? In October, Arenko’s Employee Spotlight returns to the Operations team and shines on Carl Heath, our Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Manager. Carl makes sure that everyone at Arenko, whether based on site, at home or in the office, has a safe working environment and all the required adjustments for maximum productivity. Carl’s favourite Arenko value is integrity. “At Arenko, we always tell the truth, and we always expect to hear the truth,” he told us. Carl appreciates the pace of Arenko’s innovation and our open culture, which is very different from predominantly male workplaces he used to work in, but he stressed that trust is the ultimate foundation on which any great achievement is built. It's purpose that brings teams together, not offices ?? Had an absolute blast catching up with the Hachette Boardgames UK crew. We spent 2 full days together at the Hachette UK headquarters. We talked strategy, we visited some of our key retailers like Waterstones and Foyles (W&G Foyle Ltd), we signed new games (more on those soon!), and we kicked back and played some of our latest releases together for the first time. This is only the 2nd time I’ve met these wonderful people in-person, and yet it feels like we go back years. Why? Because we share a passion and purpose in everything we do. We are united by the same goals, believe in the same values, and are driven by the same mission. The conversation about offices, hybrid working etc. seems to have superseded something much more fundamental: how can you develop a culture that glues teams together?
