Did you know that being older when you finish menopause is linked to a lower risk for cardiovascular disease? According to a study from scientists @CUBoulder and published in the @AHA Circulation Research journal, part of the reason for this phenomenon is better markers of artery function in those with later-onset menopause (age 55 or older) as compared to females with normal timing of menopause (age 45-54 years).
