This week in the lab, we're trying something a little bit different. Rather than doing an application, we're showing off a new product. So this new product here is our guest sampling valve. This is our first prototype here. Right now, the brains of the operation are on this board here. We're working towards getting a complete package. What is our gas sampling valve? Well, inside this little box there's a heater, there's some thermocouples, and there's a switching valve. That's switching valve allows us to take the gas, in this case propane right here in this bottle. It's going to pass into that sampling valve and then we're going to switch it for our injection. It's going to go into our GCF ID and we're going to see can we detect propane using our gas sampling valve. If you'd like to learn more or possibly work with us on this, there's a link.
