While many MSP roles do start as project-based or short-term, it’s important to note that extensions are quite common—and in some cases, roles may even transition into permanent contracts. That said, while we often see extensions or transitions to permanent positions, we can’t guarantee it for every opportunity. What we can ensure is that candidates get the chance to prove their value and gain experience in exciting life sciences and pharma roles. ?? Since being laid off last month, I've demonstrated interest in at least 30 pharmacy informatics and pharmacy informatics-adjacent jobs. Some resulted from conversations with recruiters, some were applications put in on sites, and I've heard regarding 8 of those positions that either another consulting company was chosen or that another candidate was chosen instead of me. Interestingly, one of the companies that sent me an email saying the position was closed left the position itself unresolved on their jobs site. I suspect they won't clean that up because a position I applied for in 2021 on that same site is still not listed as closed. I'm sure it's not intentional, but it does mean that they may not be closing the loop in other areas outside of recruitment. I had one interview, today, as a result of my resume being on Revuud (https://www.revuud.com/), so if you are also searching for work and haven't tried Revuud, I'd give it a shot. Yes, this means that you might be competing with me for jobs. I'm good with that. The folks I interviewed with today need a solution to their problem, and I hope they find the best candidate. It's not just hard in today's market to find a job; it's also hard to find the right person FOR a job. At the end, I want everyone to get the quality of health care I'd like to receive.
