As the year draws to a close, we have been reflecting on this past year as well as the milestone year ahead. What a full year! It has year full of challenging work, rewarding work, as well as laughter and some tears. We had the opportunity to do many more video and signage projects, in addition to our more traditional branding and marketing services. On a more personal note, one theme that emerged for our team was mental health, and ways that we can better take care of ourselves and each other. To that end, a simple change we are collectively making is to fully close the studio down for an entire week, once during the winter and once during the summer. That means the work can actually stop and our team members can fully unplug for work life and recharge in their personal lives. We wanted to make you aware of this in case it affects your plans during the following time periods. Monday, December 23 — Friday, December 27, 2024 (Winter Holiday) Monday, June 30 — Friday, July 4, 2025 (Summer Holiday) We are excited for what lies ahead in 2025. We continue to push into new areas of expanding our services and we are so grateful to you, our community of partners, who do such important and meaningful work. We are honored to come alongside you and help tell your stories. May the holiday season fill your home with joy, your heart with hope, and your life with love. Merry Christmas! #MerryChristmas #HappyHolidays #holidaymessage

As we step into the holiday season, I’ve been reflecting on what this time of year brings for those of us who juggle multiple hats, especially as primary parents. The holidays are magical, but they also come with a unique kind of invisible labor: coordinating schedules, buying and wrapping gifts, planning meals, making traditions come alive, and ensuring everyone around us feels the joy of the season. It’s a role I embrace with love, but let’s be honest - it’s a lot. This year, I’ve added another hat to my collection: job seeker. Searching for meaningful work that aligns with my values and passions has been an exciting and rewarding journey, but it’s also a demanding one. It requires focus, reflection, and time, three things that often feel in short supply this season. I know I’m not alone in this. Many primary caregivers, especially mothers, shoulder a disproportionate share of holiday planning while balancing professional goals, family needs, and our own mental and emotional health. It’s a delicate dance, and it’s okay to admit that it’s hard. As I reflect, I remind myself to extend the same grace to myself that I would offer to others. It’s okay to pause and breathe, to set boundaries, and to let go of the expectation to do it all perfectly (this last one... is hard). If you’re in a similar season of life, whether you’re a parent, a job seeker, or both, I see you. Let’s remember that it’s okay to ask for help, lean on our community, and take moments to recharge. We’re all doing the best we can, and that’s enough. Here’s to a holiday season filled with connection, small joys, and the promise of new beginnings. If you’re navigating this balancing act, too, I’d love to hear your perspective. Let’s support each other through this season and beyond. #Holidays #PrimaryParenting #JobSearch #MentalHealth #GraceNotPerfection #CaregiverLife #Community

How’s everyone holding up out there? Is anyone else feeling completely exhausted and overstimulated after the holidays? For the first time ever, I’ve started January feeling this way—and it’s taken me a few days to fully process. Everyone told me the jump from one to two kids would be tough. Of course, I listened, nodded, empathized—but I didn’t truly get it. Well, now I do. Two weeks with no school or childcare was all it took for reality to hit hard. Those famous (and yes, slightly cliché) quotes have been ringing in my ears: ? Vacation is just parenting in a different place. ? No one needs a vacation as much as a parent who has just had one. ? Moms don’t enjoy, they give joy. That’s how Christmas works (from 'A Bad Moms Christmas', while this movie hasn’t aged well, it still gave us a laugh this season). I did all the things to make the holidays smooth—planned, strategized, set boundaries, made intentions, and prioritized pockets of peace (for me, this means movement). And yet, this holiday season, my time and energy felt totally outside of my control. By January 1st, I was completely wrung out. Here’s where I’ve landed: ? I love my family, but I’m thrilled to be back at work this week. To all the parents out there breathing a small sigh of relief—you’re not alone. ? December 2025 is already marked in my calendar: DO LESS. I don’t want to feel this way again, and there are ways I can change it. I’m not a bystander in my own life. ? If one must be exhausted, there are few more beautiful places to be than the Swiss mountains. If the holidays weren’t the restorative end-of-year break you’d hoped for, that’s okay. So here’s my challenge to you: Make one small decision today to reclaim your energy or reset your perspective. Whether it’s saying no to something that feels like too much, scheduling an hour just for yourself, or rethinking how you want to spend your time this month—start small, but start. #BackToWork #WorkingParents #CareerAlignment #LifeBalance

It’s the holiday season, and for many of us, it’s tempting to keep working straight through. However, the best way to recharge and refocus for the new year is to step away from the daily grind. I take off from December 22nd (my mom's birthday) until the end of the year. My family does a smaller get together on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day it's the larger group (which is about 40 people!?? After Christmas is purely self-care. Spending time with my friends, resting, and giving myself space to go into the New Year powerfully. Slowing down to speed up! Taking time off isn't just a break; it’s a strategy. Use this time to relax, reconnect, and return with a renewed sense of purpose and energy in 2025. Question: What are you doing to recharge over the holidays? Poll Question: Are you taking time off this holiday season? Yes, I’m fully unplugging. No time off, staying in work mode. I’m doing a little of both. Let me know how you’re balancing work and rest this season! #WorkLifeBalance #HolidaySeason #ExecutiveRecharge #SelfCare

Embracing the Season: Winding Down for the Holidays with Loved Ones As I sit here enjoying the priceless moments with my family, and as the end of the year approaches; I know the hustle and bustle of our daily lives often reach their peak. Deadlines loom, to-do lists grow longer, and it can feel like there’s no time to catch your breath. But the holiday season offers us a unique opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the people who matter most. Here’s how I am embracing the season and making the most of this precious time with my family without bringing out the laptop :-) 1. Set Boundaries with Work The holidays are a time to focus on my family, friends, and myself. I communicated with our clients about our holiday availability, and reassured them tasks are still being met at hand. Setting boundaries will not only help you unwind but also allow you to be fully present with your loved ones. 2. Create Space for Togetherness Quality time doesn’t have to mean elaborate plans or grand gestures. Sometimes, the simplest moments—like sharing a meal, watching a holiday movie, or playing board games—create the most cherished memories. Make time for activities that bring everyone together and foster connection. 3. Unplug and Recharge In today’s digital age, it’s easy to stay tethered to screens, even during downtime. Challenge yourself and your family to unplug from technology for a day or even a few hours. Use this time to recharge and engage in meaningful, face-to-face interactions. Winding down doesn’t mean neglecting yourself. Make time for self-care, whether that’s enjoying a quiet cup of tea, reading a book, or taking a long walk. When you take care of yourself, you’re better able to show up for others. How are you winding down this holiday break? #FamilyMatters #Selfcare #GrowthMindset #PDSolutionsGroup #EmpoweringTechGrowth #PoweratPDSolutionsGroup

The holidays are a magical time of nostalgia, family, friends, celebrations, and hopefulness. They're also exhausting. Your personal life demands more of you during this period of the year: family members want to see you, kids are in and out of school because of breaks, friends host parties (and you'd probably love some time to yourself too.) Plus the days are getting shorter and colder and, let's be honest, we are getting less productive because of all of this. Now is the time to know that you won't be at 110% from October through December, and that's okay! Instead of pushing ourselves harder than we should go, it's a good idea to set realistic goals that won't lead to burn out. How are you incorporating time for rest in this season? #holidays #restingisproductive #innovativesolutions #family
