Venture Global was proud to host the Governor of Louisiana Jeff Landry, U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, U.S. Secretary of Interior Doug Burgum and other state & local officials and stakeholders to celebrate the announcement of our planned $18 billion dollar expansion of Plaquemines LNG. 2 天前How will this expansion benefit Lousiana specifically? How many new jobs will be created and how many current Lousiana residents will be hired? What sorts of jobs will they be hired into? What are the salary ranges for those jobs? What sort of royalties and/or taxes will the state and local communities recieve? How much say will local communities have in whether they recieve that money and how it's spent? Since at least the 1930's the oil and gas industry has fleeced this state, poisoned our communities, and changed the physical geography in ways that accelerated wetlands erosion, leaving the state more vulnerable to hurricanes. I will celebrate when you convince me the benefits out-weight the harm.
