Office ? Industrial Old office is increasingly being torn down to accommodate new industrial buildings. It makes sense. The cost to rehab outdated office buildings to attract new tenants outweighs the sagging demand and lower rents from a potential new tenant. On the other side of that coin is strong industrial demand, lower development and leasing costs, and less competition. Expect to see more of these office ? industrial conversions in the near future.
