An important lesson learned from my previous experience was the significance of having a cohesive team and supportive friends. Our team effectively conducted regular megacode drills, a practice familiar to us at least twice a week, which was not overly challenging for the nursing staff. Possessing proficient skills in responding to cardiac emergencies can greatly impact the success rate of life-saving interventions. However, relying on memorizing cardiac algorithms may prove insufficient when collaborating with a team that changes daily. There are six vital factors that can significantly impact the effectiveness of performing a successful megacode as a team, collectively known as Team Dynamic: 1. Clear message 2. Close communication 3. Mutual respect 4. Know your limitations 5. Sharing knowledge 6. Resuming and reevaluating regularly. By frequently practicing these six essential factors, they can be effectively implemented by various nursing staff members. This repetition will allow our muscle and mind to instinctively perform as we have trained them to do. Sumbawa, May 31 2024.

Day 53 #andresspinalsurgery has been a little more eventful as when using the loo I had to stand up to try and get me pants and shorts up and obviously was a bit too far forward so when I sat down ended up sliding off and on to the floor. Luckily no harm done, but took 3 nurses to get me back up as no one had used or put together there lifter. So, they decided to practice with using the lifter after I was sorted to be ready if anything happened again and managed to drop one part that landed on a nurses foot. So, now the nurse is injured! Then Marie-Anne came up today for a visit which was nice and we also managed to have a discussion about work so we could sort out logistics. No physios today, so I can't do anything with regards to walking further as I'm only allowed to use my walker at the moment with supervision. So, that will be Monday before I start my walking again.
