With the right approach, you can keep things running smoothly and quietly. Here are some tips to prevent noise pollution from your MEV or MVHR systems. ? Choose the right duct size: If the ducts are too small, airflow resistance increases, forcing the unit to work harder—and louder! ? Go rigid: Flexible ducts cause air turbulence, while rigid ones ensure quieter airflow. ? Minimize bends: Sharp or unnecessary bends in ductwork create more noise. Keep bends to a minimum, especially near the unit. ? Consider silencers: If noise is still an issue, silencers can help absorb it at critical points. ? Adjust airflow correctly: Too much airflow leads to noise. Fine-tune the system to provide ventilation only where and when needed. Bien que nous soyons d’accord avec une grande partie de la lettre, nous ne sommes pas d’accord pour dire que l’emballement thermique est un problème insoluble. A letter was recently distributed to the fire protection industry?that stated that through various testing, they have come to the conclusion that no solution currently exists to stop cascading thermal runaway within an energy storage system. While we do agree with much of the letter, we disagree that thermal runaway is an unsolvable problem.
