??Patient engagement as a key to success Our concept for a national health platform is based on 10 premises - one of which is to ensure cooperative product development. Why is it so important to involve patients in the realization of health platforms? And how can digital platforms promote patient participation? ?? The Patient at the Centre ?? Patient-centricity is a common buzzword in the health care innovation space. As a consequence, some even banned it from their vocabulary. ?? ?? But... patient-centricity exists. There are (if only some) beacons in the dark that we can use for orientation. Read this article in Mannheimer Morgen about one of those beacons to understand how to establish and live patient-centricity, e.g.: ?? 4-Eyes Principle - The more expertise, the better for the patient. ?? Beyond the Disease - For patients, not only the sheer treatments are essential. ?? Care - Means to care and act by heart. Sounds easy, but needs rigoros implementation and continuous work.
