We often hear successful people, whether in interviews or podcasts, emphasize the importance of thinking big to achieve big. But here's the thing—people are different, and not everyone has the ability to execute on the grand ideas and thoughts they envision. Instead of focusing solely on the "big," why not start by thinking small and executing those ideas? You never know when these small thoughts might unexpectedly lead to something much bigger . Sometimes, it's the little things that turn out to be the most impactful. #concluding2024 #happynewyear #merrychristmas

The ultimate trifecta - Role-Playing, Consistent Practice, and Confidence! ?? A question I get asked a lot is how to improve confidence and presentation skills. Recently, I worked with a client preparing for a podcast interview. We spent two weeks role-playing, and the results were amazing. Their confidence skyrocketed, and they refined their message beautifully. Role-playing isn't just for podcasts. Whether you're gearing up for a sales pitch or raising capital, consistent practice is crucial. This client practiced everywhere—in front of a mirror, with their spouse in the car, and even while walking the dog. This dedication paid off, making them comfortable and confident in any setting. One of the biggest hurdles in capital raising is confidently sharing your story. Regular practice helps you overcome this. It's not about taking the easy road; it's about putting in the work to see real results. Success comes from dedication, practice, and building confidence. Have you tried role-playing to boost your skills? Share your experiences below – let's support each other in achieving our goals! ??

"It's all about the relationships." I couldn't agree more. While there are incredible technologies, ideas, and products that can significantly enhance company operations, without strong connections and relationships, you'll never reach the stage where you can even discuss those solutions. Building relationships takes time and trust. In the E&P space, a recurring theme I've heard is the importance of doing what you say you're going to do and being consistent in your actions. New Energy Crue Podcast out with Jim H. (CEO - LFS Chemistry), find it where you get your podcasts from. Brought to you by Exec Crüe. Question: How do you deepen relationships when developing business? Share your thoughts! #businessdevelopment #relationshipbuilding #connections #chemistry #ofs

Analysis paralysis is the enemy of progress. Professionals like engineers, accountants, and scientists are trained to be precise and risk-averse. But in life and business, overanalyzing won’t get you where you want to go. Taking action isn’t writing another spreadsheet, reading another book, or listening to another podcast. It’s about making the leap, even when every 'what if' isn’t answered. Stop overthinking. Start doing. #TakeAction #StopOverthinking #SuccessMindset #ActionOverAnalysis Your repost could inspire someone to break free from analysis paralysis. Thanks for sharing!

I think a 'high performing' team would all be clear on their (small number of clearly defined) individual and team goals, and how they connect to wider company goals. And they'd be getting lots of feedback and everyday coaching conversations from their managers/peers to motivate them and keep them on track with issues flagged early.
