? We finished out the season last night. The score was 3-0. We lost! (Again!) ?? BUT! It was the least amount of goals we had scored on us all season. We had possession for 80% of the game. We had 8+ shots on goal. We saw improvements with every game. Were we bummed that we lost? Sure. Did we have bad attitudes because of it? Absolutely not. We were out there to spend time with friends, try our best, & get some exercise. We never left a game not having accomplished our mission. Here's some life lessons I took away from this season that apply to both personal & professional life: ?? Surround yourself with the right people. Make sure culture aligns, & everyone understands the team's mission. ?? Show up! Consistently. Your team should be able to count on you. ?? Communicate! Efficiently & effectively. ?? Pass the ball! Be a team player. ?? Cheer each other on! ?? Always say "good game"! ?? Have fun! Stay tuned - That first win is coming next season! ??

The team claps from the dressing room when a batter scores 50, 100, 150 or 200. We have also seen many times that the batters don't raise their bat to receive the reception they get, but still, the teammates clap for the milestone. It also happens when the team is not going to win the match, but the individual performance of a batter becomes a reason to appreciate. How important can it be for someone whose teammates celebrate and appreciate small milestones? Rohit Sharma or Shivam Dube, Harmanpreet Kaur or Richa Ghosh - no matter who scores 50 or 100 - a captain or a player, the team appreciates all - in winning cause or losing situation. Teammates don't celebrate if a player gets out on 49 or 99. One run completes the milestone! Learn the art to appreciate and celebrate other's tiniest milestones in your working area. People will remember you forever.

Through my journey so far, I was fortunate enough to work closely with colleagues on the same goals and personal growth. The disbalance between employee benefits was something I have struggled to bring to everyone in the team in the companies I've worked with. This game has been so intense. 5 teams so far. May 4th last day to apply to join. 1st day all the teams including my 10 person team got beat by a Team of 1 (her teammates have joined now). It means there is no impossible in anything. We all had the same step goal as a team whether we have 1 person or 10. My team, like in life may have thought because there are more of us I can give the minimum and it should be okay. So those of us with high numbers (you see the analogy, working harder) couldn’t push the team through the course faster because our steps had to be distributed among everyone in our team. If everyone on the team stepped like they were a team of one we’d be unbeatable. Do you have weak links on your team? Could you be the weak link?
