Here's what I learned in SPACE! I recently made a 62 mile high climb up a ladder into space (virtually of course), while giving my viewers the ability to interact with my virtual character in real-time as I climbed. The project was a one-of-a-kind interactable experiment that I built to push the limits of creativity and to help raise awareness of the power of real-time rendering. Lately, AI has become such a hot topic that most people seem to have completely overlooked the advancements in virtual production tools for indie creators like me. While it didn't get the publicity I thought it would, I learned a lot from it and I have zero regrets about the time I spent to make it. I believe in being fully transparent when it comes to innovation in order to keep things real. Clarke’s fascinating predictions from the 1960s about our Ai future: Communication Satellites: Clarke envisioned a global network of communication satellites that would revolutionize how we connect with each other. These satellites would enable instant communication across continents. Bioengineering and Medicine: He suggested that brain surgeons in one part of the world could operate on patients in distant locations using remote technology. While we haven’t achieved this exact scenario, telemedicine and robotic surgery have made significant strides. Intelligent Machines: Clarke’s vision of intelligent machines aligns with our current advancements in artificial intelligence. Although we’re not quite at the level of conscious machines, AI has become an integral part of our lives. Space Exploration: His work depicted space travel and exploration, including the concept of space stations. The International Space Station (ISS) is a testament to this vision. Suspended Animation and Replicators: Clarke speculated about suspended animation for long space journeys and the possibility of replicators creating objects from raw materials. While we’re not there yet, these ideas continue to inspire scientific research. Arthur C. Clarke’s ability to foresee technological advancements remains awe-inspiring, and his legacy lives on as a true visionary. ????
