Dubai is really NOT expensive. Let me explain, I’m not saying Dubai is cheap its just that how we choose to spend money here will make your Dubai trip expensive or inexpensive. Here are few tips to save money!! 1) Travel during shoulder season, the months of September-October or February-March to get cheap flights and hotels. Also plan and book your tickets and hotels early to save a lot of money!! 2) Using public transport will make your money last longer in Dubai since its the cheapest mode of transportation here. For example, a NOL card for Rs 2500 gets you unlimited rides on the metro, bus and tram for a whole week. 3) For cheap food, try shawarmas, karak and even Indian restaurants in Deira, Karama and Bur Dubai. When at the mall, you’ll find the cheapest food at fast food restaurants or ready to eat section at the supermarket. Dubai can be expensive, but it can also be affordable.. here are some of the free things you can do in Dubai: 1. Explore Old Dubai (Al Seef) - best place to take stunning pictures. 2. Wings of Mexico- the most instagrammable place in Dubai, super crowded so go there early morning 3. Sunrise at Dubai Creek Harbour- this place is just something else, the views are ???? 4. Dubai Fountains- free to watch. 5. Museum of the Future- you can visit the lobby and 1st Floor for FREE 6. Explore Dubai Mall and watch the Aquarium for free next to H&M. 7. Dubai's Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DDET) reported a significant increase in overnight visitors during January-February 2024, with 3.67 million visitors. Europe was the leading source market, with 773,000 tourists, representing 21% of the total. South Asia followed closely behind, contributing 604,000 visitors, representing 17% of the total. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries ranked third with 549,000 visitors, representing 15% of the total. Visitors from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Eastern Europe totaled 530,000, while those from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region reached 448,000. North and Southeast Asia contributed 340,000 visitors, with 240,000 arrivals from the Americas, 138,000 from Africa, and 53,000 from Australia.
