?Employee Spotlight? Danielle Moore - Accounts Payable Assistant??? Danielle has been a member of the LGS team since March 2023! In her role, she manages company invoices, collects receipts, and communicates with field workers to ensure everything runs smoothly. "I have always loved the business aspect of the working world, so choosing a career path was a no-brainer. I wanted something that would challenge me daily, keep me on my toes, and keep my mind active. This field is definitely that for me," says Danielle. What Danielle enjoys most about working at LGS is her work family. "We spend more time here than at home, so having a work family that you get along with, can laugh and joke with daily, makes coming to work a thousand times better. I am truly blessed to have a wonderful work family." Danielle is also proud of her achievements in her pageant career, having held over a dozen state titles, national titles, and an international title! For a while, in my career, I was an Accountant in a car dealership. Actually, an enjoyable job. I did this until around 1994. My memory might be a year or three out. From 1988 I did this role in a large business situation, and we had to file out month end accounts, pretty much to a year end level of completion, withing 5 or 6 working days. Quite properly, we had zero leeway on this. And when I started, some of the bookkeeping records were still, effectively, totally manual. I didn't ever miss a deadline, and to the best of my knowledge neither did any of my colleagues in other branches within the group. It did, of course, mean zero chance of a day off, either for a holiday or any other reasons, at any point during the month end period. Which I found fair enough. And still would. These deadlines were important. And if something is important enough, you show up to do it. Which is kind of the business point I am making here. #business #priorities
