Fibre Boats_electric hydrofoils, based in Lake Macquarie, is proud to announce the development of the F5, a groundbreaking electric boat that combines the latest advancements in batteries and electric hydrofoils. This innovative vessel promises to set new standards in efficiency, sustainability, and performance.
Revolutionary Technology
Fibre, founded in 2023, is working on an electric boat that leverages the superior energy density and safety of lithium-ion phosphate batteries, paired with the hydrodynamic efficiency of electric hydrofoils. This combination not only enhances the boat’s range and speed but also significantly reduces its environmental impact, making it a game-changer in the quest for sustainable marine transportation.
Proven Concept and Next Steps
Having successfully developed the design and concept, and with a one third scale working prototype to prove the concept, Fibre Boats are now ready to take the next big step. The company is seeking investors and strategic partners to develop the first full-size, 5.5 metre vessel. This vessel will feature:
?? Propulsion:?2 x 40 kW electric motors
?? Power Supply:?60 kW of batteries
?? Range:?77 km on a single charge
Call for Strategic Partnerships
To bring this visionary project to fruition, Fibre Boats are seeking strategic partnerships with companies specialising in:
?? Electric Battery Management Systems (BMS):?Expertise in developing advanced BMS to optimize battery performance and longevity.
?? Power Distribution Units (PDU):?Collaboration to design and implement efficient power distribution solutions that ensure seamless operation of all onboard systems.
?? Maintenance Management Applications:?Development of a user-friendly app to manage post-sale maintenance schedules, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
