Some of the unique challenges working here at the PDX airport are the fact that it's a working airport, there's public interaction, there's multiple trades that we're working up against. One of the great things with Lovelocks was they were able to give us a kit of parts. So we were able to mobilize just what we needed to do pre assembly as much as possible, install the system in sections so it minimizes the amount of real estate we were taking up in the actual airport. So the design and functionality of the terminal was enhanced by. Level access, unique implementation of the sun shade system, there were several unique items involved in that and most of them had to do with the different connections that were involved in the system had to meet some structural requirements including seismic resiliency. And Alex is really creative and putting together some movable components that were integral within the design of the system. But the forward solution was another aspect of the design that was something we had to overcome and Level X helped us get there both in appearance and the way that the different extrusions. Came together to mimic the look of a single wood member. The engineering of the system being able to span a decorative grill element 25 feet unsupported in front of the video screens. It was imperative to work directly with Labelux and a team of engineers working on this solution. As it turns out, it looks amazing and it meets all the engineering requirements. I think this is one of the coolest projects that we've worked on. It's a very public space. A lot of the stuff that we normally do, we don't get to show off. This is something that I'm especially proud of because I do get to show it off to a lot of different people.
