Grants for farmers and ranchers up to $250k can be used for planning and working capital to generate new products, create and expand marketing opportunities, and increase producer income. Step 1 for #Alkaline #batteries. Once the other lines installed all types of batteries will be able to be processed at the site. Slow and steady roll out. Much more sophisticated equipment ready to be installed and commissioned. All battery materials have to be linked to resources if countries will be successful at encouraging recycling. I also think all countries should look through the blur of hype and pretending and encourage recycling and processing that meets short and long term objectives. Example #lithium tech able to process batteries and #spodumene with #hydrometallurgy turns a problem into viable option that can be sized to optimal size for revenues beyond what is available from batteries from #recycling. #ferromanganese and #ferronickel processed through #pyrometallurgy linking #batteries and #resources can also be sized to be viable as two simple examples.

The lightbulb moment for people is when they realize that utilities weren't required to monitor (and remove) PFAS in their water. How long have we been exposed to PFAS through our drinking water? It's difficult to say from the data available to us, but our research shows that if you're within a 9-10 mile radius of a detectable PFAS measurement, your likelihood of being exposed to PFAS in your drinking water goes up significantly. Dioxins found after the BioLab fire in Conyers, GA and evacuation of 17,000 residents. The fire (on 9/29/24), continued illnesses, and finding of dioxins in the soil raise troubling questions such as: How was BioLab able to operate when chemicals that reacted with water were not shielded or protected from the water sprinkler system in the building? How did BioLab get insurance and who was insuring BioLab, when such obvious risks were evident? How was BioLab able to operate (and obtain licenses and safety certificates) in the state of Georgia with its prior record of incidents in Georgia and Louisiana? https://lnkd.in/gHka84vb
