Last week, OBO hosted its 2024 Industry Advisory Group (IAG) Annual Meeting, which proved to be a remarkable day of innovation, collaboration, and industry insights. The meeting, moderated by James Rodriguez, featured a "State of OBO" address from Director?Will Moser, an update on last year's Annual Meeting recommendations from Douglas Dykhouse, the announcement of the Worldwide A/E Design IDIQ Stage 1 Shortlist from?Curtis Clay,?breakout sessions focused on data analytics, risk management, and tech-driven solutions, along with a workforce evolution roundtable. Led by?Richard Sullivan, Victoria Hartke,?Chelsea Bakken, Beth Slaughter, Mitch Miles,?Alyssa Lapan,?Laura Rogers, NCIDQ, IIDA, LEED AP,?Lisa Kyriienko, and?Andy Blackmore, each conversation was filled with impactful takeaways. We are eager to put these insights into action. Major highlights included a keynote by?Evan Levelle?on designing and building facades, a presentation by IAG Peer Thomas L. Mitchell, Jr., CFM, CFMJ, IFMA Fellow on the critical role of integrative facilities management, the public Q&A session, and the networking event, fostering further dialogue between OBO, IAG peers, and industry leaders.
