Emory University - Goizueta Business School Veteran's Program scored a win with its inaugural stair climb at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Conceived as a way to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001, participants climbed approximately the same number of stairs as the first responders did at the World Trade Center on that fateful day. Lorenzo Suarez and his team delivered a sobering experience as each participant experienced just what it means to tread 2,200 stairs. My fellow climbers in Group 11 were a great source of inspiration--Darlene Benjamin and Jo?lle Gracia--and of course, the firefighters who did the entire climb in full gear! #neverforget #firstresponders #leoadaly
