?? Look: These four men share a vision – namely to bring compression therapy to the next level! ?? Last week, our CPO Dr Klemens Schulz and R&D Director Dr Christian Rohrer met Dr Andrew Cameron (CEO) and Dr. Darren Burke (CTO) of the Irish start-up company FeelTect. FeelTect won the first L&R Accelerator program last autumn. They developed a health device for measuring and monitoring sub bandage pressure during compression therapy, primarily for patients with Venous Lel Ulcers. Dr Klemens Schulz: “Together with FeelTect, we want to shape the future of compression therapy. In the meeting we figured out possible options for a further collaboration between us, e.g. cooperation in clinical studies, healthcare research or trainings.” As a longstanding and highly experienced medical products company, we know all the relevant stages involved in bringing a product to market maturity. Today is #WorldPatientSafetyDay! At SLMHC, we are focused on improving #diagnosis for #patientsafety by: ?? E-Referral Technology: We have recently implemented Novari and Ocean to help streamline our referral processes and ensure clients receive timely appointments. ?? Patient Experience: We are also using Qualtrics XM to streamline patient experience surveying and engage patients through digital feedback forms, helping us to continuously improve our services and address concerns based on patient input. ???? Staff Training: Our staff undergo continuous training including Equity, Diversity & Inclusion and Trauma Informed Care to stay updated with the latest best practices, reducing the risk of diagnostic errors caused by cognitive factors such as biases, fatigue, and stress. ?? Achievements: Over the last 2 fiscal years, we have seen a 13% decrease in total delayed diagnosis/treatment errors and a significant reduction in those resulting in harm, from 12% to 4%.
