They are one of the biggest providers of low income, free, legal services in the United States and the biggest provider in the entirety of Upstate New York. They are an invaluable resource for our community. James E. Hacker, managing partner of Hacker Murphy, LLP, is the sitting President of the Board of Trustees of LASNNY. Partners James E. Hacker, John Harwick, and David Iversen attended LASNNY's first inaugural golf classic this past Monday where John Harwick easily beat out the field to win the longest drive contest. Civil legal services are only funded to meet about 20% of the need nationwide - fundraisers for organizations like LASNNY allow them to provide invaluable legal services to people who would otherwise go without.
