In a recent example, I applied a task-based approach to a lesson, starting with simpler activities and gradually advancing to more complex language production tasks. I began with a fill-in-the-blank exercise to introduce and reinforce vocabulary and structures, followed by a matching phrases activity to consolidate understanding. Finally, students created their own dialogues based on given situations, applying the language creatively and contextually. For this lesson, I used ChatGPT to generate the activities and Canva to design the materials.
