Lapsed donors believe they've given to your organization more recently than they have. It's not the donor's fault. We don't often measure time correctly when we're asked for an estimation. A lapsed donor may not know she's lapsed. When you're communicating with her, remind her of how thankful the people she serves is for her donation. Reach out with non-ask engagement to continue to strengthen your relationship.
