So, you may consider yourself the non-monied party—maybe you’re just not interested in the finances or feel overwhelmed every time the topic of money comes up. Where do you even start? Consider this: ? What is it that you want your money to do for you? ? Are your children prepared to inherit and handle receiving your assets? ? Do you want to leave a legacy? ? What does that look like? I encourage you to start thinking about these questions and jot down your thoughts, wishes, and wants!

Can you lend a hand? There is a tremendous need in the Jewish community for financial relief. Since Jan 1, 2024, JIFLA has approved $430,669 interest-free loans, surpassing our 2023 loans totaling $328,515 by $102,154. By lending a hand you are part of a community that cares and understands how financial challenges can hit hard and limit opportunities. JIFLA supports members of the Jewish community who need financial assistance. The current economic climate is affecting everyone. Increased grocery bills, gas prices, housing shortages, and layoffs create financial strain. For some Jewish Georgians, these challenges can escalate into financial crises. JIFLA offers a lifeline by providing interest-free loans and financial education, helping individuals and families regain financial stability. We are committed to being there for our community, but we need your support. Can you lend a hand by donating today? https://lnkd.in/eCSbGtKu

Stark new analysis from Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) shows 100,000 more children are set to be in poverty by October 2029 compared to today along with 300,000 more working-age adults. It's an important time to remind people about the free help available through National Debtline and Business?Debtline. Both services are run by Money Advice Trust, of which I'm proud to be Vice Chair, and the advisers offer practical self-help to people, enabling them to start to tackle their debts and manage their money with confidence. https://lnkd.in/eSADTsjY

Financial Coach | Speaker | Debt-Free | I paid off $55,000 in 3.5 years making under $60,000 a year.
What are your thoughts on giving money to the homeless? ...Even while you're in debt? These two scriptures convicted me! "Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his good deed." - Proverbs 19:17 "Whoever shuts his eyes to the poor will have many curses, but whoever shows him favor will be blessed." - Proverbs 28:27 ? Neither verse specifies the amount or type of help. Even small acts of generosity can be meaningful. ? The motivation behind the act is important. Giving should come from a genuine desire to help, not with the expectation of receiving something in return. ? I know it's tempting to assume, "They're going to use this money for drugs" or "They're probably faking it," but I want you to change your perspective. If you feel more comfortable, provide them food or water, or simply converse with them. I just wanted to give you a gentle reminder to evaluate your heart posture when it comes to giving to the poor and to trust God with the rest. Don't just expect the millionaire, billionaires and government to do something when you can do something as well. ?? Comment below your thoughts... ?? #financialcoach #debt #money #God #moneycoach Learn more about me here: www.thehealthywallet.co

There are two economies at work: God's and man's. We get to choose which one we do life in. In God's economy, debt is not forbidden but it is strongly cautioned against. The typical U.S. family spends 25% of its income on debt interest. IRS stats show that the typical American family spends 10x more on debt interest than we give to charitable organizations. God's Word teaches us the borrower places themselves in a position of bondage, or slavery, to the lender; or to say it another way, the lender has dominion over the borrower (Proverbs 22:7). 1 Corinthians 7:23 tells us to only be in servitude to God. Debt has become more American than apple pie. Let us help you come up with a plan for your family to achieve true financial freedom. #JesusCenteredLife #PowerFinancialGroup #FinancialFreedom?#KingdomAdvisor #MoneyManagement?#Stewardship #LivingGenerously

Can Churches Implement IBC? Every now and then I’m asked if churches can use Infinite Banking. And I wish more churches would ask, because the answer is “Yes!” If you’re in church leadership, or just a member of a congregation you care about, then this episode is for you. I’ll explain why IBC is a great option for churches who want to use their financial blessings wisely. And I’ll tell you why IBC makes more sense than a savings account or CD with the bank. Listen now! Show highlights include: -Why Uncle Sam lets policies built for churches be even better than policies for individuals. (1:10) -Bank products have their highest interest in years. But here’s why churches should choose IBC instead of getting swept away by the current rates. (2:47) -Risky thing, I don’t believe churches should do with their money. (4:20) -Who should the church insure? Surprising reason staff members aren't always the best option. And where they could look instead. (4:45) -How churches leverage IBC to keep their preacher from being dependent on social security after a lifetime of faithful service. (6:50) Listen now at https://apple.co/3JhvH59

You might believe trusts are only for the super-rich, but that's a common misconception. Trusts can be a game-changer for families across income levels. Whether it's securing your children's inheritance at the right age or earmarking funds for education, a trust puts you in the driver's seat. https://bit.ly/3HiMuCI #FamilyFinancialSecurity #PlanForTomorrow #ProtectYourLegacy #KansasTrusts

Wondering what savings groups are? We partner with churches globally to form savings groups—groups of people who gather together weekly (on average) to save money together, be discipled, grow in their faith, and gain bibically based training—equipping them to escape #poverty. We train church facilitators to run the #savingsgroups, and as groups build a secure sum of money, members often take out loans from their group to pay for household expenses, medical emergencies, or start or grow a business. Savings groups inspire us in how they welcome people in, regardless of their past. Learn more about savings groups at https://lnkd.in/eG53UYNr
