Great example of how a team works as a single unit over a fairly long time frame. while they're celebrating 3rd anniversary in a new avatar, I have seen them working together as far as my memory serves - more than 10 years for sure. So, what's the mantra to stick together as a team for over a decade 1. Complete autonomy and sense of ownership. Decision making including very strategic ones such as partner selection is done with everyone agreeing to the same. 2. Total transparency - everyone knows everything about the company including access to the CEO's email ( not advocating this as a best practice though ??), but nothing can be a greater example of transparency 3. Direct and no nonsense communication style including arguments 4. Complete flexibility in working hours. Family priorities come first for everyone and other team members support the person who needs time away automatically. These are few of my impressions as an outside observer who has seen this team through ups and downs.

The last 8.5 years at D5 and Song were invaluable. From Super Bowl to experiential, creative to measurement and media planning, I learned so much from all the amazing humans that have made D5/Song a powerhouse. UFA is an end-to-end creative marketing firm focused on helping growth stage brands graduate from niche to mass market competitor. Many companies at this stage are rapidly expanding through new product and service offerings or expanded distribution channels or geographic footprint. As the ambition of the business grows, the game changes and it becomes clear a new marketing playbook is necessary to succeed.
