Recently I participated in SIH's internal hackathon. It was more like the ideation phase of a project. Our problem statement was to do something to identify defects in the Science Museum's machines. We came up with a solution to make a robotic bird that would analyze thermal defects by thermal sensors, and internal effects by radiography, and visual defects by computer vision. Things I learned regarding teamwork and management from it. 1) In teamwork don’t be yes yes use Critical Thinking and Analysis to see what other people would see, and mistakes around them and discuss them with teammates and improve them. 2) If you have assigned work to someone don't look at what he is doing, it would give you stress. Look at the progress over time. Give your mates time.

Wow! The invitations for our upcoming hackathon went out to the Tilda Community yesterday—and some categories are already full! ?? At this follow-up hackathon, we’ll continue testing and refining the Behavioral Change Index—an index within Tilda that we're building with RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. This index is built to improve Tildas ability to predict the success of learning and change initiatives and give real-time feedback to adjust strategies along the way. ?? Attending the LOGML Summer School was a great experience that I can highly recommend! During our project, alongside Phillipp Dahlinger, Heath Pearson, Thomas Walker, and Albert Wood, and under the supervision of Yidi Qi, we developed and tested novel approaches for estimating constrained Riemannian metrics on Calabi-Yau manifolds. We learned how to optimize a Hessian of a function (#K?hler potential), represented by a neural network. This can establish new connections with physics-informed models, which have recently gained popularity in graph learning. #CalabiYau #Riemannian #Metric #MetricFlows
