Want to change the system? Start with your conversations. We know that communication in leadership is super important. But time and time again, I see leaders choosing management training over leadership development. It's not an either/or. Both are vital to your effectiveness and emotional wellbeing. You should be able to have both. Stay tuned for the rest of this week for more guidance / reminders on how to create the conditions for focus and shared responsibility with your direct reports, colleagues, and anyone else with whom you want to have better communication.
