I had the pleasure of being part of an insightful panel at Event Tech Live London called “From Discovery to Deployment: Mastering Event Tech Procurement & Implementation.” This session, hosted by Matt Wilson, brought together an incredible lineup of experts: Mike Chatterton, Claire Gilet, Matt Burton, Ade Allenby - EWD, and myself Josiah Taulbee. We discussed the complexities of event tech procurement, from identifying the right solutions to ensuring a successful deployment. One key takeaway? A strategic approach to procurement—one that involves clear discovery, communication, and collaboration—can make the difference between success and frustration. I also stressed the importance of validation post-implementation. It was great to engage with so many event professionals on this topic, share insights, and hear real-world experiences.
