This Weatherization Day, we’re excited to announce that the Green Workforce Connect Platform has expanded to allow users to connect with more than 100 organizations in nine states to explore career opportunities in the Weatherization Assistance Program! Job opportunities in the home energy performance industry are on the rise. Green Workforce Connect is a platform that connects job seekers, students, training providers, and contractors in the clean energy and energy efficiency workforce nationwide. “October 30 is Weatherization Day, making this the perfect time to celebrate careers in home energy performance,” said Pagan Poggione, Senior Director, Strategic Workforce Engagement at IREC. “The Weatherization Assistance Program offers job opportunities that range from entry-level positions to advanced technical careers, all with free training and industry-recognized national certifications.
