2 个月It brings me great joy to be seeing all the teachers, namely Redmond Middle School, coming back from summer for a fresh new school year. Teachers of the past that I once had as a student coming up on almost a decade ago and teachers of new. Although I may not being going into education myself, it is the wonderful Mrs. Kern (5th picture) that helped me guide and find what my calling was! She may not remember me at first glance but I can certainly remember it as if it was yesterday! It was Mrs. Kern’s first year at RMS and she had been doing an amazing job at “keeping all the ducks in a row” as she so says! Looking forward to high school, it was a struggle picking classes directed towards what I had planned for myself in the future, a struggle because I had no clue what I wanted to do. Mrs. Kern talked with me day by day trying to help in anyway possible. Due to her commitment in helping myself as well as many others, I knew that I wanted to focus on helping others! We kept speaking throughout the year and the student-teacher bond that had formed only strengthened over time. Towards the end of the year, I had told Mrs. Kern that I was torn between becoming a teacher and becoming a nurse. She said that it was okay to be unsure of…
