I saw this today and it resonated with the way I have grown as a leader who is trauma informed and working with diverse communities who experience higher levels of deprivation. Truly a paradigm shift for the better.
This practice calls us to recognise trauma’s impact on both personal and collective levels, and to respond with awareness, compassion, and deep understanding.
This work challenges us to look beyond individual experiences to the broader systems of harm that perpetuate trauma. Trauma-informed living means acknowledging that institutions, systems, and societal structures are often built on trauma, and we must disrupt these cycles.
It is a paradigm shift—one that asks us to see people in their full diversity and intersectionality, to allow them the dignity to evolve at their own pace.
Driven to serve my community and do good daily.
