Small teams are lowering the cost to access space. Welcome to the Second Age of Exploration. Echoes of 15-17th Century. Initially driven by Portugal, Spain, Netherlands - essentially funded by Governments, right? We're moving at lightning speed. Pretty much just 67 years of space exploration, not hundreds. From caravels to carracks, and the galleons (starships) are on the way. Exploration led to trade and slave labor driving the first age. There are no slaves (thankfully)- just explorers and robots. There are no spices -- but there are mining opportunities. And the hottest commodity in the near term? Water.
