Enter POSP / point-of-sales persons: a fast-growing business for Policybazaar, Turtlemint - and the company that took the lead on this front, Insurancedekho. The POSP biz consolidates insurance field agents on online-insurance platforms. But there is a huge cost to this fast-growing business: commission charges. ?? Insurancedekho incurred Rs 301 crore in FY24, ?? Turtlemint incurred Rs 305 crore in FY24. Is it worth it? OH YES, in a hugely uninsured market like India, this opportunity is hard to miss.
