Six months after the European Commission labeled Booking.com a gatekeeper under the Digital Markets Act, they claim to be compliant. A summary of the most important conclusions: ?? Removed all parity requirements throughout the EEA. Partners no longer need to offer the same rates as other channels. ?? Launched a ‘Data Portability API’ to give users more access to, and control over, their personal data. ?? Further improved partners’ access to business-relevant data, such ?? Implementation of obtaining consent from travelers to engage in cross-data processing of traveler personal data with sister brands Agoda, KAYAK, Priceline and more. Agoda why do you have such a poor customer services ? Hi Agoda team, I am a very old customer of agoda , however never seen such a poor customer service with Agoda , really disappointing. Issues and trauma I am facing with your services: 1. This cancelation was done without any confirmation from my side, not sure why do you have such agents who don't understand the basics. 2. I called again and explained the entire story again and asked why this booking was canceled, agent said that it's a mistake and we will rectify and rebook. I mentioned that it's a natural calamity as road to my property is broken and state government is not allowing to go to lachung, hence I need full refund. 3. Your agent confirmed that if this is natural calamity and if the property confirms , Agoda will do full refund. 4. I spoke to property manager and he confirmed that he has sent a written note to agoda for full refund. 5. Again I called agoda after a Day and they don't have a track of issue, they don't know what discussion happened earlier and asking me to start explaining the issues again. 6. I request for call back with the earlier agent and haven't got a call back till now ? I want to understand why I have to go through this time wastage with Agoda ? Why I haven't got my refund till now? What should I do to make sure that I don't have to follow up again ? Devastating it is. Again , it's such a poor service by agoda.

Sharing the disastrous experience in dealing with Agoda, they don't pay the partners on time and hold the money for 30-40 days after the checkout. They don't pay to the partners and creates unwanted reasons without any prior notifications. They promised to pay the amount however on the day of payout they deactivate my property, remove all the booking data and disable my payments? How it is fair to do this activity without any prior intimation? Agoda I expect a call and detailed explanation on this.
