Embracing Natural Light! One of the ways we promote sustainability in interior designing is by maximising the use of natural light. This simple yet powerful measure not only reduces energy consumption but also enhances the aesthetics and functionality of spaces. By incorporating large windows, skylights, and well-placed mirrors, we harness the power of daylight to illuminate spaces naturally. This also reduces our reliance on artificial lighting thereby cutting down on electricity usage and decreasing our carbon footprint. In addition to the environmental benefits, natural lighting has shown to improve the well-being of residents. It creates a more inviting and comforting atmosphere, enhances mood and amplifies productivity. Moreover, a well-lit space with natural light can connect us to our outdoors, and foster harmony with nature.
