To All Veterans On this Veterans Day, we honor the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much to defend our nation's freedom. Your courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment to duty have shaped our world. We pay special tribute to the heroes of the Vietnam War. Among them is my late father, Doan Hop Nguyen (https://lnkd.in/gzFCAMDk), the former High Command’s Chief of Staff of the Vietnamese Special Forces and Airborne Commando Battalion. He served alongside The U.S. 5th Special Forces Group and the 173rd Airborne Brigade in Kontum. Their unwavering spirit, even in the face of extreme adversity, continues to inspire us. We remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, giving their lives for our country. To those who endured the horrors of war and the hardships of captivity as POWs, your strength and resilience are a testament to the human spirit. We also honor their families and loved ones, who shared in their sacrifices and endured unimaginable hardship. Let us also acknowledge the invisible wounds of war that many of you carry. Your service has shaped our nation, and your sacrifices, both seen and unseen, will never be forgotten. To all veterans, from all wars, we extend our deepest gratitude and respect. This is such a heartfelt and powerful tribute to the sacrifices and resilience of our veterans. Honoring not just their service, but also the invisible wounds and hardships they carry, is a reminder of the depth of their contributions. Your personal connection, through your father’s heroic service, adds an incredibly meaningful layer to this message. Thank you for sharing this and for recognizing the bravery and dedication of all those who have fought for freedom. Their courage continues to inspire us every day
You always say what is in my heart for our service men and women and their families. Thank you DT.
