?? Exciting news for the Dutch real estate market! ?? The latest figures reveal that the investment volume in Dutch real estate has been on the rise. Compared to the first half of 2023, there has been a remarkable 10% increase in investment volume in H1 2024. Notably, the Industrial and Residential sectors are leading the way, accounting for 63% of the total investment activity. This highlights the strong performance and attractiveness of these sectors in the current market. ?? Additionally, there has been an influx of foreign capital into the Dutch real estate market, with a remarkable increase of nearly 15% since 2023. ?? Savills latest Market in Minutes explores the current state of the Dutch real estate market. Even though more and more indicators are pointing towards a gradual recovery of the Dutch investment market, investment activity has remained subdued in Q1 2024. ?? After hitting its lowest point in March 2023, investor sentiment for European real estate has increased by 27.9%. However, despite this increase, investment appetite still remains low across all sectors. Investment volumes decreased by 14.6% QOQ and 2.5% YOY to €1.7 billion in Q1 2024. ?? Looking ahead, Savills maintains the expectation for a gradual recovery in 2024 as investor confidence in the European real estate market rebounds in anticipation of cuts in policy interest rates.
