What makes a Superintendent 'good?' ?? All Superintendents have their own 'selling point', whether that's the types of projects they've worked on, how long they've worked at their current employer, their own personality and work ethic etc.... However this got me thinking, on a day-to-day basis, what makes a Superintendent 'good'? For me, what I generally think of with this is a combination of the following: ?? Experienced with the type of project they're currently on and delivered several similar projects successfully ?? Has the respect of the trades and an eye for detail ?? Not afraid to have the difficult conversations with their team members, subs and clients ?? Goes the extra mile, working over time or on weekends when needed Curious as to what my network thinks on this.... So let's hear it, who was/is the best Superintendent you know (and not yourself! ??) and what do you think made them stand out to you vs others that you've come across? #construction #northcarolina #southcarolina

A common misconception is that you should hire a specialist over a general contractor. In reality, working with the right general contractor may be a better option. With enough experience, a great general contractor becomes an expert in multiple areas. It’s also more common for general contractors to have back office staff, project managers, and site supervisors. They can also provide warranties on projects within timeframe and budget. A relationship with a good contractor is much more valuable because they could be a one stop shop without making sacrifices on quality, price, or service! If you are wondering whether or not you should hire a general contractor or a specialist, give us a call! ?????????? #construction #constructionlife #constructionmanagement #generalcontractor #specialist #regalrestoration #regal
