Serious Play? comes in. ?? But, I often hear, 'I'm not creative.' Creativity is inherent in everyone; we just need a helping hand to tap into it! That's why I love Lego? Serious Play?. It embodies its name perfectly: Lego = Visual & hands-on Serious = Outcomes Play = Fun ?? As children, we constantly play and problem-solve. At All_sew, we're always on the lookout for innovative engagement techniques. One of the powerful methods we've are going to add on the experience is LEGO Serious Play. "Roadmap" I would be happy if I could draw a trajectory like this for the rest of my life. By putting all my energy into improving what I am currently working on, and continuing to increase the number of people who sympathize with its merits and value, I will become known in the world, and if I'm lucky, I will become popular. In a sense, the process up to this point is "on an upward trend." However, that popularity will not last long, and the process thereafter will be "flat" for a while, following the law of inertia. After that, I will start to descend relatively early and land. At that moment, I will be surrounded by a comfortable sense of accomplishment and kind praise from my peers. This is my "soft landing roadmap I want to aim for." Looking at it this way, we can see that in order to make the roadmap a reality, in the first half, it is essential to have "people who understand and support me." And in the second half, I need "self-control that does not aim to maintain an upward trajectory." Although this is only the case if you are lucky enough to rise, if you get a taste for rising and try to hang on to that state by trying to gather followers, your landing will probably be a free fall crash. This is my "hard landing roadmap that I would like to avoid if possible." In order to improve my skills as a facilitator, I thought about what kind of story I could wrap my own work in. The point is to attach a story to the finished work, not to make the work according to the story.

Play isn’t another thing to do. It’s another way to do things. Thank you Ben Lai and team from the LEGO Group’s Creative Play Lab for hosting our Singapore team in your space! We got to see how their team explores Learning through Play and even got to revisit our favourite childhood memories of playing. Of course, no visit to Lego is complete without actually playing with some Lego. Through Lego building exercises, we definitely reignited some of our child-like curiosity and exploration. We also learnt about the 5 key characteristics of unlocking playful learning - joyful, meaningful, socially interactive, actively engaging and iterative.
