We at Learn Infinity conduct a lot of Organization-Wide Need Assessments every week. One question I ask everytime to an employee who has stayed with the company for over 7 years is "What makes you stay?" Trust me, the answer is NOT "Because the company pays well". Here's what they tell me. - My manager appreciates me. - I have a lot of room to grow - There are a lot of other perks and benefits being the employee here. - I enjoy my role and people I work with. - My team values me. This is it. The answer is one of the above everytime. If you are employee-centric, the employees will be company and customer centric. It always is both-sided. Simple math.

As it turns out, the reasons experts cite for people failing at their New Year’s resolutions aren’t all that different from what we see when participants in employment programs fall short of program expectations – setting goals that are too big, too vague, or unrealistic, when participants don’t seem to “buy-in” to what programs see as a logical next step, and not accessing support systems when things get tough.
