To truly understand the love of God, one must take the shape of a child. It’s about embracing the purity, the love, and the innocence that children naturally embody. When we look through the eyes of a child, we see the world with a sense of wonder, free from prejudice, fear, and judgment. A child's love is unconditional. They give freely, trust easily, and forgive quickly. In the same way, the love of God is unreserved, patient, and endless. It's a call for us to let go of the cynicism that adulthood often brings and return to that state of childlike faith and simplicity. When we strip away the layers of doubt, worry, and the need to control everything, we can experience the depth of God's love in its purest form. It’s not about becoming perfect, but about being open—open to love, open to kindness, and open to the possibility of being transformed by grace. Duality is Beautiful. Our history and rituals are quite clear- “where were you first made a Freemason? In my heart” (is the correct answer). We are not SHEEP or reptiles. We are free and accepted masons . Free thinkers. Those who excessively limit and take away this innate, but often repressed freedom (even in evil and violent ways) , as a natural and integral part of Freemasonry are not doing any favors to Freemasonry. We were probably a Fraternity (of masons or builders) before we became an Order - when exactly we “became an Order” is not known: possibly in the Middle Ages when presumably there were (rather poorly researched, I am afraid ) presumed contacts between some Orders (like the knights of Saint John and/or the legendary knights of the Temple); or after the reunification of the two London Grand Lodges in 1813 (more than in 1717 , or even following the several Constitutions by Anderson ).? We , as an institution , have a dual nature - a Fraternity and an Order. But we we should never forget that these dual identities are not “an end in itself”, but only a tool for continuous self improvement and for the bettering of our society and world. Being happy and communicating happiness. Never forget. Our order is Light . And it is not a coincidence- the concept of the wave-particle duality of light says that light possesses both wave and particle properties, even though we cannot observe both at the same time. Thus even Light is a paradox. It is associated with wisdom and knowledge, with the divine. The Enlightenment proposed three hundred years ago the light of reason as the guiding path toward truth.
