Cybersecurity myth #1 If you have one strong password that you use everywhere, you're secure. The problem with this is that if that password gets compromised, and that doesn't mean that you get hacked, that means that wherever you're using it, Facebook, something like that gets compromised and they steal your password. So someone can buy it in the black market and actually use that password with your e-mail in other places and hope that you're using the same password. So the best way to secure your accounts is using a different password in every website and use a password manager so you don't have to. Remember them, and if you want to save your password has been compromised, go to Have I Been poned.com and you can actually check whether your password has been found in any of the leaks and you'll be surprised to see how many times your password has been found.
