An interesting excerpt to understand the differences between men and women in work and life.

Couldn't have said it better. The difference between men and women isn't about their abilities but the expectations placed on them and what we're conditioned to accept. As parents, we want our kids to be brave, but we also feel the need to protect them—especially girls—because we know the world can be a tough, unpredictable place. As a result, we often teach caution over courage. Is caution bad? No. But we also need to teach them that it’s okay to take risks, to fail, and to try again. Falling down and getting back up is part of the journey. Perfectionism is our biggest blind spot, and it comes with a heavy sidekick—shame. We think being perfect will protect us, and that pressure gets passed on to the next generation. So, for our girls, for ourselves, and for all women—let's embrace the messiness. Let’s fall, get up, and support one another in taking risks. It's okay to fail.
