But a young patient I saw recently said something interesting by way of gauging her severity. "On a scale of 0 to 10, 0 being no pain and 10 being the worst pain you have ever experienced, how can you rate your pain now?" I asked her. She gave a wry smile and switched to Gen z lingua. "Okay.
