.NET Developer at GetResponse

It was great time! ?? Summarizing the presentations I attended: We need to focus on the need that should be met. Not just writing code for the sake of writing code or closing a task in Jira. "(...) You wrote very good, useless code." And to recognize this need, we should emphasize communication and the way we communicate. "What's in blue, we should say in purple". Pragmatism and simplicity => simple code => less headache, lower entry barrier for new developers, simpler and more enjoyable life. The code won't call you at 3 AM, but a colleague who doesn't understand it (in a crisis situation) might. Finally, I'll quote something that appeared at the end of Mariusz Gil's presentation, which I think sums it up nicely: "In pure architecture the smallest detail should have a meaning or serve a purpose" ~ A. W. N. Pugin (1812-1852) From my self I could add to this quote " And yes, I’m talking about you, fourth abstraction layer, that is 'necessary' for making a database query." #CraftIT Micha?
