I love the term “sonder” on Adam Grant’s post! It really hits home with one of our core values at Vasana, which we call the platinum rule: ? Treat people the way they want to be treated.? It’s a reminder that everyone we meet is carrying their own world of hopes, fears, loves, and heartaches…that we might never know about. We need to go beyond the golden rule. Instead of treating others how we want to be treated, we need to take the time to get to know who they are, and what matters to them.
