Today, we're celebrating our 200th review on Google. We've averaged more than one 5-star review per day so far in 2024. No. 200 illustrates the typical journey for our customers: Skeptic -> Delighted user -> Promoter Making the leap from skeptic to user is the hardest. This is especially true for us because a huge part of the problem we're solving is a lack of trust between buyers and sellers. Promoters are key to easing that friction because they short-circuit that first step for everyone they talk to. Focusing on creating more promoters is the best way we can drive value for customers, partners, employees, and investors. So, you know, that's what we do. Side note: We got review number 201 while I was writing this ??.

Have you ever noticed the remarkable patience of Google Maps? It never scolds or criticizes you when you make a wrong turn. Imagine if it did - "You were supposed to turn LEFT at the last intersection, you fool! Now you'll have to take a longer route and be late for your meeting! Pay attention and follow my directions, got it?" If Google Maps behaved that way, many of us would likely stop using it. Instead, Google simply recalculates and guides you to the next best route. Google's main priority is helping you reach your destination, not making you feel bad for making a mistake. This serves as a valuable lesson for us all. It can be easy to unleash our frustration and anger on those who make mistakes, especially those close to us. However, the wiser choice is to assist in finding a solution rather than placing blame.

2 years ago today, we got our 175th 5-star Google Review... You're probably asking yourself...how in the hell do you get that many perfect reviews? In short, by obsessing over the customer experience in all facets of the business. Investing in developing personal relationships with our customers. In business (and life), things go wrong. It is inevitable. Trying to prevent any single thing from ever going wrong will drive you insane...and probably to the grave. Shit happens. What makes it possible to turn a zero into a hero...is doing everything in your power to see the problem from the stance of the customer, and do everything you can to resolve it as quickly as you can. Setting a goal of hitting 200 5-star Google Reviews will probably end in heartache. Continuously evolving processes and branding to make sure the customer is being treated in the best possible manner...makes that would-be goal a SLIGHT possibility ?????? 2 years later, we have 260+ 5Star Google Reviews ??????
