Over the holidays, our Exec Team took some time to pause and reflect on a great read by Anese Cavanaugh, Contagious Culture. This idea of presence—how we show up every day—felt especially relevant. We reflected on the idea that leadership isn’t just about the decisions we make or the tasks we accomplish. It’s about the energy we bring into every conversation, the care we take to nurture our own growth, and how we connect with others from that place. We often talk about the importance of creating a supportive and thriving community, and it starts with each of us first. How can we ask others to grow if we’re not investing in our own growth? How can we expect to inspire if we haven’t taken the time to reflect on what truly inspires us? This reflection has stayed with me. It’s a gentle reminder that our presence—grounded in self-awareness and authenticity—creates the space for others to flourish. And that’s the kind of culture we want to build.
